In aid of International Women's Day, Solution Junkies is hosting "Fashioning Futures" to address the state of women in work with expert speaker Hana Mosavie, Founder of Pomegranate House.

Solution Junkies will host "Fashioning Futures," a lunch and networking event commemorating International Women's Day (IWD) on March 6th. This event will focus on accelerating gender equality and exploring the current state of women in work.
Aligned with this year's IWD theme of accelerating action, "Fashioning Futures" will dive into the realities behind the statistics, recognising that behind the numbers are real women facing real challenges.
Women are disproportionately affected by long-term unemployment, encountering setbacks that extend beyond mere data points. Solution Junkies believes everyone deserves the opportunity to work and thrive, and this event underscores that commitment.
Recent data paints a concerning picture: last year, women applied for an average of 38 jobs, a significant increase from 28 just two years prior. Despite this increased effort, fewer women are securing employment, highlighting the complex and persistent barriers they face.
