International Women's Day Lunch
Join us this International Women’s Day (IWD) to flip the script and discover what it truly means to “lift as we climb” as we reclaim the narrative on this year's IWD theme, "Give to Gain."
We’ve been taught that rising to the occasion means burning ourselves out, often mistaking depletion for devotion and performance for love. This International Women's Day, it is time to move from depletion to devotion - not by doing more, but by learning to trust yourself first.
Join us for an exclusive International Women's Day lunch as we explore the developmental pathway of self-trust. We believe that when we give to ourselves first, we create an overflow that empowers the next generation of young women to rise above their circumstances. This afternoon combines high-level networking, a transformative keynote, and a commitment to supporting those coming after us.
Founder of Ohana Foundation, ex VP Strategic Partnerships at Salesforce, Director at Tesco, and Transformation Director at Impellum.
Wendy Gardner is a Glasgow-born leadership mentor, activist, and author of the memoir and toolkit, The Diary of a Misfit Penguin. Following a career directing £50 billion programmes for global retail and tech giants, Wendy experienced the personal cost of what she calls "machine mode," a state of relentless performance at the expense of well-being.
Today, she serves as a shepherdess for high-achieving women, helping them move from surviving to thriving, bridging corporate strategy with human sustainability.
Bio
Wendy Gardner spent years as a "corporate machine," leading large-scale transformations for firms including Tesco and Salesforce. While her professional rise was significant, a series of personal struggles, including the loss of her daughter and a family mental health crisis, forced a reckoning with the myth of the "bulletproof" leader.
Now the Founder of The Ohana Foundation and creator of the IAmMe coaching programme, Wendy works with women who are high-functioning on the outside but depleted within. Having navigated burnout, redundancy, and grief herself, she provides a practical map for those standing at the threshold of "what next?"
